The San Saba Polo Club was established in central Texas in 1986.  Since the club’s founding, the San Saba Polo team has competed in every level of polo from low goal to 20 goal in the Pacific Coast Open in Santa Barbara, to the 26 goal US Open in Wellington Florida, and including womens polo, and numerous charity events globally.  San Saba’s time in Argentina at Santa Maria to develop the property since 2005 has been a wonderful 20 years of building a lovely home, barns, playing fields, gardens, and enjoying the beauty of the landscape and diverse bird life of Laguna Culu Culu.  San Saba at Santa Maria served as a base for exploring the beauty of Argentina in all regions, especially Patagonia for fly fishing and hunting red stag.  Santa Maria served as a place to learn more about the game, polo horse breeding, and participating in high goal practices.  The club’s location offers access to tournaments in Palermo on fields one and two, Pilar, Canuelas, and Monte not far from Lobos.  The privacy at Santa Maria combined with access to top polo, and valued time spent with family and friends has been a treasured chapter in our 40 years of polo.

STABLES
Top-tier equestrian facilities for true polo enthusiasts. Counting with 800 m² (≈ 8,610 sq ft), 12 boxes 3.50 × 3.50 m (≈ 11.5 × 11.5 ft) each, built with 35 cm (≈ 14 in) thick walls and hardwood doors for durability. Each stall opens into a spacious inner courtyard equipped with drinking troughs and showers, ensuring a comfortable and high-quality environment for horse care.

MAIN POLO FIELD
An exceptional field for play, featuring Tifway 419 grass and spanning 280 × 155 yards (≈ 256 × 142 m) with a gentle 1.5% slope for optimal drainage. Meeting the highest standards of the Argentine Polo Association, this field offers well-maintained wooden boards and a 4–5 inch (≈ 10–13 cm) sand layer, ensuring optimal playing conditions and a firm surface for high-level polo.

PRACTICE FIELD
The practice field, designed specifically for training and perfecting the game, measures 280 × 64 yards (≈ 256 × 59 m) and shares the Tifway 419 grass and rigorous maintenance of the main field. This field provides ideal conditions for honing skills and refining each stroke in a safe and stable environment, supporting players in their game to the highest standards.
